We have experience with both randonee skiing and heli skiing. You can stay in Inussuit Lodge during your stay, where we will provide breakfast, a packed lunch and dinner when you get back after a good day of skiing. 

We cooperate with the local boat company "Maniitsoq Tour Boats", which offers transport for your group in large 12 pax speedboats (Targa) to exactly the mountain you want to explore.

That way, you can live in the most fantastic and private surroundings close to nature, the sea and the mountains that you ski in every day.


NORTHERN LIGHTS

Every year from September to April we experience a lot of magical northern lights in Greenland.

The northern lights are especially evident if you get away from the city's light pollution. 

Come and stay in our lodges and experience the beautiful and alluring phenomenon - the northern lights.

We offer fly fishing by the river called "Lille Narsaq", where we have concession to fish with tourist. Here you can catch lots of the large trout that swim lively up the river every year.

It is possible to book individual days by the river, or to book a stay with us either at Inussuit Lodge or Ikkamiut Lodge, which are both located close by the river.

The Maniitsoq area is known to be full of whales. Every year in the period June-September, we have a lot of huge guests who eats, plays and enjoys themselves in the water around Maniitsoq. 

Book a whale sightseeing tour and get close to the beautiful giant creatures.

Inussuit Tasersuat means "Lake of the giant people". 

In the land behind Inussuit Lodge lies the beautiful lake "Inussuit Tasersuat" where it is possible to hike, kayak and SUP board in a completely unique scenery.

Bring your own equipment or rent it through us.


HIKING

If you love to hike, then the areas around Inussuit Lodge and Ikkamiut Lodge are absolutely for you. There are beautiful mountains that can be climbed, fantastic water streams where you can get your fresh and ice-cold drinking water and there is beautiful and untouched nature everywhere you look.

It is possible to explore by yourself or to book a guide.

If you want to explore the beautiful nature around Maniitsoq, you should definitely go on a sailing trip. You can visit the bird mountains, where thousands of birds breed every year. You can explore the beautiful colors/rainbows created by the small and large waterfalls along the mountains. And if you're lucky, you might see the beautiful and mysterious black ice floating around in the water.

COLLECTING BERRIES, PLANTS AND HERBS

In August and early September, the soil has a lot of beautiful berries, plants, herbs and flowers to offer. We collect for jam, herbal tea, spices and much, much more.

Come and join us as we collect and gather for our winter supply.


GREENLANDIC CULTURE AND FOOD

Come and join us for a traditional Greenlandic "Kaffemik", where a lot of cakes, coffee, tea and Greenlandic provisions create a good atmosphere and many new taste experiences. 

If you are lucky, you might get the chance to see one of the beautiful handmade Greenlandic national costumes.

Maniitsoq is the sixth largest city in Greenland and it is known for ist very traditional way of living. Get a guided tour around our city and lear more about our way of living, the development of the city and our funny local traditions. One of the very famous stops on the rute is our "natural car wash". You will also see the local museum and learn more about our history.
